Sunflower Story Background

The story setting is year 3008 after the Great War ends. The last sun storm explosion eliminates millions of colonies of the Empire in seconds. It is the main reason the Empire retreated from its front line and ends the Great War between the Empire and the Unicorn. The sun has no tendency to cease its over-activity since the last explosion of sun storm during the war. Severe radiation affects many of the comcentration camps and colonies of the Empire.

Sunflower Project has started after the Great War. Its purpose is to make Sunflower Objects from human extract--the soul, in order to do two things: one, to abstract the over active radiation from the sun; two, to produce an artificial sun.

Sunflower Objects providers are all real human beings who are chosen for this top secret project of the Empire, no matter whether they are dead or not. The Lab has already mastered the key to extract human soul but the success rate is still below 1%. Some of the reasons are: the container of the soul is too weak to survive the ultimate energy reaction in side the soul core; the stablizer is not perfect to keep the soul's presence in the 3 dimension world. Violent explosion of Sunflowers have destroyed some of the concentration camps. Other Sunflowers either dimish or "disappear" into unknow zones.
